Zinc-based alloys entered the era of “microcrystalline alloys”Ⅱ

In 2005, the China Micro-Nano Technology Society was formally established, marking the beginning of China’s micro-nano application technology and standing on the same starting line with developed countries in meeting the individual needs of functional materials.

Researchers from the China Micron Nanotechnology Society have applied micro/nano technology to the field of special antifriction alloy materials, and have developed microcrystalline alloy materials with special requirements for meeting certain individual properties, such as light body magnesium for aerospace engines. Microcrystalline alloys, high temperature resistant nickel-based microcrystalline alloys, silver-based microcrystalline alloys requiring high reliability, and the like. The special microcrystalline bearing material not only fills the domestic blank of the antifriction material, but also keeps pace with the world microcrystalline alloy technology from the single performance of the material.

In 2009, experts from the Institute of Metal Research, Shenyang Institute of Metal Research, Shenyang Foundry Research Institute, Shenyang University of Science and Technology, etc., carried out joint research on production, education and research; developed a complete set of micro-alloying treatment and low-temperature quenching and other combined casting technology. (commonly known as the three-time smelting process), the preparation of zinc-based microcrystalline alloys has been realized; four zinc-based microcrystalline alloy materials have been mass-produced in China, including microcrystalline zinc-based alloys with ultra-low friction reduction coefficient. LZA3805, a microcrystalline zinc-based alloy LZA4008 with large PV value, a microcrystalline zinc-based alloy LZA4205 with super wear resistance, and a microcrystalline zinc-based alloy LZA4510 with good impact resistance.

Zinc-based microcrystalline alloy can meet the special requirements of single-item performance. It is an important mark different from traditional ordinary anti-friction alloy. It realizes the customized production of anti-friction materials for equipment manufacturing industry, and meets the individualized demand of equipment manufacturing. The high efficiency, high precision, high reliability and low cost of equipment manufacturing provide a strong guarantee.
